Uncut opals are a gemstone dropped by Basilisks. They can also be obtained while mining ores or gem rocks, stealing from gem stalls, or opening caskets. Uncut opals are used as Fletching ingredients for bolt tips. Players will have to cut the gem twice with a chisel in order to turn it into the tips. This action requires 60 Crafting and grants 40 crafting experience.
