Upgraded elemental staves can be obtained by using a crystal on an elemental staff. When upgraded, it increases the weapon's accuracy to +100 but becomes degradeable and lasts for 33 hours of combat after which the staff will turn back into its unupgraded form without giving the crystal back. The upgraded elemental staves are not tradeable, cannot be dropped and cannot be alched.
