The Rod of Ivandis can be acquired as a very rare drop from the smoke demon champion. It requires 80 magic to equip. While it does not possess a special attack, it does allow you to cast Storm of Armadyl, a strong single-target wind spell that requires no runes.

The Rod of Ivandis is degradable and will gradually degrade into rod dust while used in combat, possessing a total of 5 hours of combat time. Rod of Ivandis is only tradeable as the dust or when it is completely repaired. If the user dies, 10% of charges will be lost. Rod of Ivandis can be repaired by Bob at any state for a coin fee of up to 1,999,800 gp, depending on how many charges missing. Players may also repair it at a repair bench in a player-owned house for a reduced fee of up to 1,719,828 gp.
