Uncuts can be obtained in several ways: dropped by certain monsters, mined from the shooting star distraction, by stealing from a gem stall, by opening caskets or by mining gem rocks (up to dragonstone only, no opals) at the Island of Neitiznot.
An uncut gem requires a certain crafting level, a chisel and active membership to cut. All gems can be cut twice (except opal), giving the same crafting experience again, to be cut into 15 bolttips.
