A multi-combat area is an area where a player can be attacked by multiple NPCs and or players. Multi-combat areas exist both inside and outside of the wilderness. They can be very dangerous places if you don't pay attention to what's attacking you. If you are in a multi zone you will see the crossed swords icon on your screen.
