The Staff of light is a one-handed magical staff that requires level 75 magic to wield. It has a special attack that reduces the damage you take by 20% for 1 minute at the cost of 100% special energy.
Although it does not conserve a specific kind of rune like most staves, it has a chance of 35% to preserve runes on cast. It can be obtained as a rare drop from Commander Zilyana.
