A present was used in Christmas Event 2015: Present Delivery and in Christmas Event 2016: Jack Frost I.

Christmas Event from 2015: Santa asks for your help, you'll have to deliver presents for him. You will recieve a delivery note, on that note you will find out which NPC you have to deliver a present. A present can be found underneath the Christmas Tree, south of the Grand Exchange. when you brought the present to the NPC listed in the note, you will get a Christmas Cracker as a reward from Santa.

Christmas Event from 2016: Santa needs your help again, just like last year, you'll be delivering presents. But he asks you to help him with something else aswell. Jack Frost wasn't happy with his present last year and Santa thinks he will boycott Christmas this year. Santa asks you to hunt down Jack Frosts plan. Once you have talked to Jack Frost, you have to choose if you want to reveal his plan to Santa or tell Santa that Jack Frost won't boycott Christmas. After you've finished the quest, you can help Santa deliver presents or you can help Jack Frost to deliver black presents, which will explode when the person on the delivery note opens it.

Beside the events, the present has no use in emps-world.
