Set effect

The Vanguard legs, when equipped with the rest of the set, will activate the Vanguard armour's set effect. The set effect returns 5% of the damage you deal to you as special attack energy. It also increases the damage of your special attacks by 12.5%. Additionally, if at least two pieces of the armour are equipped, the prayer drain of Smite is increased to 40%.
