Gems can be obtained in several ways: dropped by certain Monsters, mined from the Shooting star distraction, by stealing from a gem stall or by mining Gem rocks (up to dragonstone only, no Opals) at the Island of Neitiznot.
Various Gems require different Crafting level and a Chisel to be cut. All gems can be cut twice giving the same crafting experience each time. A single gem can be turned into 15 bolt tips that can be added to different tiers of bolts depending on the tier of the gem itself.
