Mithril bar

Mithril bars can be smelted at a furnace, 1 mithril bar requires 1 Mithril ore and 2 Coals and will grant 120 smithing experience. Mithril bars can also be made by using the Superheat Item Magic spell which requires a magic level of 43, this will also grant 120 smithing experience.

Mithril bars are used to smith Mithril weapons and Mithril armour. Each weapon and armour requires a different amount of mithril bars and smithing level. For each mithril bar used in the process of smithing, you will be granted 340 experience.
