Dragon scale dust can be created by using a Pestle and mortar on a blue dragon scale. You can obtain a blue dragon scale as a drop from blue dragons and on the ground near them and you can buy a Pestle and mortar for 3 coins in any General store. The dragon scale dust is only used to make antifire potions.
Antifire potions are created by using dragon scale dust on Unfinished lantadyme potion. This requires a herblore level of 81 and will grant 795 experience.
