Uncut opals are a gemstone dropped by Basilisks. They can also be obtained while mining ores or gem rocks, stealing from gem stalls, or as a reward from caskets. Uncut opals are used as Fletching ingredients for bolt tips. Players will have to cut the gem with a chisel in order to turn it into the tips. This action requires 60 Crafting and an active membership and grants 480 experience.
