The Blurite crossbow requires 65 ranged to wield and has no special attack. It can be only obtained as a rare drop from jellies. Crossbows cannot be made with the fletching or smithing skill.
The Blurite crossbow can fire any kind of bolts. It is a one-handed weapon. This allows players to use a shield, book or defender with it. The type of bolt will determine the ranged strength and thus the maxhit of the crossbow. Currently it is the third strongest crossbow of the game, surpassed by the Hunters' crossbow and Chaotic crossbow.
