Barehanded catching is a method to catch butterflies with Hunter skill. You can also catch Butterflies with a Butterfly net. Barehanded experience requires a higher level, but also grants more experience.
Make sure you have an empty Butterfly jar in your inventory to store your catch. When you have caught Butterflies in a jar, you can release them to buff other players within multi-combat areas.
