An Eye of newt can be bought for 3 coins from any General store. It is only used as an ingredient to make Attack and Super attack potions by using the Herblore skill.

Attack potions are created by using an eye of newt on an Unfinished guam potion. This requires a herblore level of 1 and will grant 125 experience.
Super attack potions are created by using an eye of newt on an Unfinished irit potion. This requires a herblore level of 48 and will grant 500 experience.
