Sceptre of light is an upgraded version of the Staff of light, created using the Invention skill. The Sceptre of light has a special attack that reduces the damage you take by 20% for 1 minute at the cost of 100% special energy. Additionally restores 60% of missing health and prayer points. You are, however, unable to maintain the special attack's effects when entering a duel in the Duel arena. The Sceptre of light has better stats than the Staff of light and differs visually from the godsword by a darker yellow colour and has glittering stars hovering the staff.

The Sceptre of light can also be recolored at Bolkoy for 100 event points.
