Karil's crossbow is one of the various barrows items that is obtainable from the Barrows Brothers minigame. It is one of the pieces of Karil's armour set. The crossbow requires 70 ranged to be equipped.

Unlike other crossbows, Karil's crossbow uses bolt racks as ammunition and cannot fire regular bolts.

Karil's crossbow, like all barrows items, is a degradable armour and will gradually degrade into a broken state while used in combat, possessing 4 hours and 10 minutes. Possessing 4 stage, the Karil's crossbow can last for 16 hours and 40 minutes of combat time. It is only tradable when it is completely full of charges or completely broken. If the user dies and drops the Karil's crossbow, the broken version will be dropped. In pvp, the repaired version will be dropped. The Karil's crossbow can be repaired by Bob at any state for a coin fee of up to 299,760 gp, depending on how many charges missing. Players may also repair it at a repair bench in a player-owned house for a reduced fee of up to 257,794 gp.

Set effect

Karil's crossbow, when equipped with the rest of the set, will activate Karil's set effect. The set effect makes your attack speed 0.5 seconds faster upon successfully inflicting damage.
