The Black platelegs require a Defence level of 10 to wear. It can only be purchased for 2,213 coins in the Armour shop in Barbarian village and Al-Kharid. It cannot be made by using the Smithing skill. There is no difference in stats between Black, Black (t) or Black (g) armour.
