Barbed bolts can be created using the Fletching skill, by using Barb bolt tips on Bronze bolts. This action requires 85 Fletching and yields 0 experience. Active membership is required to attach the tips.

The tips can be obtained from various monsters:

• Revenants
• Bloodvelds
• General Graardor
• Kree'Arra
• Smoke demon champion

Barbed bolts can be used with a crossbow and give + ?? ranging strength. They give 10% extra strength against monsters on your Slayer task.
