The Crystal shield is a unique shield obtainable as a rare drop from skeletal wyverns. It requires 70 defence to be equipped and currently provides the best defence bonuses of any shield in Emps-World.
The Crystal shield is degradable and will gradually degrade into a consecration seed while used in combat, possessing a total of 5,000 charges. It is only tradeable when it is completely full of charges when it becomes the seed. If the user dies and drops the shield, it will retain all of its charges. The shield can be repaired by Bob at any state for a coin fee of up to 225,000 gp (depending on how many charges missing).

Trivia
- The crystal shield and bow both received an update on June 9th, 2017, improving their total charges from 3,000 to 5,000; the shield was also buffed, receiving much better defence bonuses while losing its attack bonuses.
