Bolt racks are one of the various barrows items that are obtainable from the Barrows Brothers minigame. They are one of the pieces of Karil's armour set. The bolts have no requirements to equip.
Bolt racks are a unique ammunition that can only be used by Karil's crossbow. They cannot be used with any other crossbow.
Set effect
Bolt racks, when equipped with the rest of the set, will activate Karil's set effect. The set effect gives the player a 40% chance for their next attack to occur 0.5 seconds faster.
