The Chaotic rapier is a piece of chaotic equipment available in the slayer points exchange. It can be purchased for 20,000 slayer points. While the Chaotic rapier does not possess a special attack, it does have a unique mechanic that increases its damage and accuracy on monsters assigned as your slayer task by 10%.
Additionally, a gilded version of the crossbow is available, requiring 200,000 slayer points to purchase. It is statistically identical, differing only through its cosmetic gold color.
The Chaotic rapier is a degradable weapon and will gradually degrade into a broken state while used in combat, possessing a total of 15,000 charges. If the user dies and drops the rapier, it will lose 25% of its current charges. It can be repaired by Bob at any state for a coin fee of up to 1,010,000 gp, depending on how many charges missing. Players may also repair it at a repair bench in a player-owned house for a reduced fee of up to 797,900 gp.
