The Chaotic rapier is one of the five obtainable chaotic weapons available in the Slayer points exchange. It can be purchased for 20,000 Slayer points. It requires 72 Attack and Slayer to equip. While the Chaotic rapier does not possess a special attack, it does have a unique mechanic that increases its damage and accuracy on monsters assigned as your slayer task by 10%.
The Chaotic rapier is a degradable weapon and will gradually degrade into a broken state while used in combat, possessing a total of 15,000 charges. If the user dies and drops the rapier, it will lose 25% of its current charges. It can be repaired by Bob at any state for a coin fee of up to 1,000,000 gp, depending on how many charges missing. Players may also repair it at a repair bench in a player-owned house for a reduced fee of up to 797,900 gp.
