Ancient energy is obtainable as a drop from Spectrals or when killing someone wearing Ancient armour or using Ancient weapons in the Wilderness. They can be used to recharge ancient armour or ancient weapons equal to the amount of energy you have. Recharging an ancient item to full will not make these items tradable again.

Ancient energy is tradable with other players.
