As with other Promethium items, it reduces the effects of rot by 10% (for a total of 50% when fully geared with Promethium equipment items). The Promethium plateskirt can be made by using the smithing skill, requiring 4 Promethium bars and grants you 3,040 smithing XP. However, 92 smithing is required.
