Rune hasta
The Rune hasta is a one handed melee weapon, similar to the spear. 40 Attack is required to wield this weapon. Although Hastae offer negative defensive bonuses, the fact that they can be used with a shield provides more defence than a normal spear. A rune hasta can be obtained as a drop by killing the Smoke demon champion in Smoke dungeon.
