Verac's helm

Barrow items can be obtained as a reward from the dangerous minigame Barrow Brothers. The Verac's helm is a helm which requires 70 Defence to wield. It degrades when used 1000 times and can only be traded when it is fully charged or completely destroyed. If the user dies and drops barrow items, the destroyed version will be dropped. Players can repair destroyed Barrow items at Bob for a coin fee.

Special effect

The set effect has a 20% chance to ignore melee protection prayers and 25% of the enemy's defence bonuses. It is mostly used against the Kalphite Queen, as she uses protection prayers in her defence. It is very useful against monsters with high defence, as the reduction will be most effective there.

For the effect to occur you need to wear the following items:

• Verac's flail
• Verac's helm
• Verac's brassard
• Verac's plateskirt
