Elemental whip

Elemental whips are upgraded versions of Abyssal whips and Donator whips.

Upgrading

Abyssal whips and Donator whips can be upgraded by using an elemental crystal which is rarely obtained from Tormented demons as a drop. This will consume the crystal, make the whip untradeable, degradable and increase it's stats while also giving it a new special attack. The whips last for 33 hours in combat, after which they will revert back to their original forms without giving the crystal back.

Both elemental abyssal whips and elemental donator whips have the exact same stats and only differ in appearance.

Upgraded elemental whips additionally gain a new elemental damage type, the style of which depends on the crystal used to upgrade the weapon. This elemental damage type is useful when exploiting NPC weaknesses system, and gives players an additional 50% accuracy bonus when fighting monsters weak to that damage type. For example, players fighting undead monsters who commonly have weakness to air spells with a elemental whip (thunder) will gain the 50% accuracy boost, as thunder whips have an air damage type.
