Promethium battleaxe is a drop from Lucien Van Rot. It requires level 80 Attack and level 85 Strength to wield. As with other Promethium items, it reduces the effects of rot by 10% (for a total of 50% when fully geared with promethium equipment items). The Promethium battleaxe can be made by using the smithing skill, requiring 3 Promethium bar and grants you 2,280 smithing XP. However, 91 smithing is required. The Promethium battleaxe is degradable and has up to 25 hours of combat time after which, will be transformed into a broken state with no combat time left that cannot be worn until it is repaired. Promethium battleaxe cannot be repaired by Bob or any repair benchs. It can only be repaired by using a Promethium bar on the equipment. A single bar will repair the Promethium battleaxe in its integritty no matter how much combat time is left.
