You have a Promethium pickaxe.

Promethium pickaxe is a drop from Lucien Van Rot and his minions in the Rot cave. It requires level 85 Strength, 80 Attack and level 71 Mining to wield. However, the pickaxes can be used from the inventory to mine with, if the player does not have the required combat levels to equip it. As with other Promethium items, it reduces the effects of rot by 10% (for a total of 50% when fully geared with Promethium equipment items). The Promethium pickaxe can be made by using the smithing skill, requiring 3 Promethium bar and grants you 2,280 smithing XP. However, 89 smithing is required. The Promethium pickaxe is degradable and has 45,000 charges. Everytime a log is shopped, a charge will be lost and once totally degraded it will be transformed into a broken state with no charges left that cannot be worn until it is repaired. Promethium pickaxe cannot be repaired by Bob or any repair benchs. It can only be repaired by using a Promethium bar on the equipment. A single bar will repair Promethium pickaxe in its integritty no matter how many charges are left.

By putting Promethium pickaxe inside the toolbelt, it will preserve it's charges and will never degrade.
