Rune bolts can be obtained by attaching feathers to Rune bolts (unf), this requires 75 Fletching level and grants 148 Fletching experience. They can be further upgraded by attaching Dragon bolt tips or Onyx bolt tips to create Dragon bolts or Onyx bolts. These can then be enchanted for special combat effects.
Rune bolts can be used with a rune crossbow and up (requiring 61 Range) and give +86 ranging strength.
