Woodcutting

Woodcutting is a skill that allows players to obtain raw materials that can be further refined with Fletching, making bows and arrows out of them, or with Firemaking, burning them for experience. The higher the difference is between the required woodcutting level and your own woodcutting level, the faster you will get the logs. Woodcutting has a maximum level of allowing players to cut higher tier logs at the fastest rate possbile.

Hatchets

You will need a hatchet to start off with, and there are several classes of hatchets ingame, up to the Dragon hatchet. Most hatchets up to rune can be bought from Bob's Axes. The Dragon hatchet can be obtained from Dagannoth primes or bought from other players(if you're not any type of Ironman mode).

Hatchets can be used from the inventory to cut with, but you can also equip them, saving one inventory space. This requires a certain Attack level though.

Click on a tree while having a hatchet in your inventory to start cutting logs.

Trees

All trees grant the player their own type of logs except for Normal trees, Evergreen,Dead and Dying trees which all grant regular logs.

Recommended Locations

Below are a few of the best locations to cut trees all over Emps-World.

	Normal tree	1	The most common tree in Emps-World, these trees are how players start off training Woodcutting.
	Dead tree	1	Dead trees are found south of Barbarian village, Draynor manor area and Wilderness.
	Evergreen	1	Evergreen trees can be found near Falador, near the entrance to the Dwarven mines, north-west of Barbarian village, east of Camelot Castle.
	Dying tree	1	Dying tree Can be found in the Varrock, and Lumber yard(Although in Lumber Yard you cannot chop trees due to area being not accessible).
	Oak tree	15	These trees are fairly easy to find around wooded areas. Most common areas being Varrock, Seers' village, East of Ardougne and East of of Emps-Wars minigame.
	Willow tree	30	These trees are found near water. Players can find them in and around Port Sarim, Draynor village, Seers' village.
	Teak tree	35	Teak trees can be found near Catherby fishing spots (3 trees), deep South-west of Emps-Wars minigame (1 tree), South-East of Ruins of Uzer (1 tree) and behind the fence in Tai Bwo Wannai (9 trees)
	Hollow tree	38	Hollow trees can be found just east of Canifis, in the Haunted Woods.
	Maple tree	45	Maple trees can be found near Seers' village bank, Barbarian village.
	Mahogany tree	50	Mahogany Trees can be found in Seers' village and behind the fence in Tai Bwo Wannai.
	Arctic pine tree	57	Arctic pine tree can be found only in Island of Neitiznot
	Yew tree	60	Yew tree can be found in Seers' village, Edgeville, Rimmington.
	Magic tree	75	Magic tree can be found in Rimmington, Barbarian village and South of Seers' village, in the courtyard of Sorcerer's Tower.
