Gold deposits are a special type of gold rocks, located in the Living Rock Cavern. They differ from normal gold rocks in the amount of Gold ores they grant. When mined, Gold deposits grant 2 ores (and occasionally between 1 and 3 Living minerals), whereas normal gold rocks only grant 2 ores. Gold deposits contain about 50 ores before they collapse and require level 75 Mining to be mined.
Players should watch out for aggressive Living rock creatures when mining Gold deposits.
