In Emps-World you receive two ores for each rock you mine. Experience calculated for mining is for each 2 ores that you mine. The higher the difference is between the required mining level and your own mining level, the faster you will mine the rock.

With Woodcutting players can obtain raw materials that can be further refined with Fletching, making bows and arrows out of them, or with Firemaking, burning them for experience. The higher the difference is between the required woodcutting level and your own woodcutting level, the faster you will get the logs.

Hatchets

You will need a hatchet to start off with, and there are several classes of hatchets ingame, up to the Dragon hatchet. Most hatchets up to rune can be bought from Bob's Axes. The dragon hatchet can be obtained from several monsters, like Goraks.

Hatchets can be used from the inventory to cut with, but you can also equip them, saving one inventory space. This requires a certain Attack level though.

Click on a tree while having a hatchet in your inventory to start cutting logs.
