The Rune essence mine can be accessed by players to mine Rune essence, the basic material for Runecrafting. Talk to Aubury to be teleported to the mine, and once in the mine you can use the portals to be teleported back to your original destination.
Aubury can be found in Varrock, just south of the small bank, in Port Sarim, at the Void knight outpost and in Ardougne.
