The Rune c'bow requires a range level of 61 to wield. It can be obtained as a drop from Basilisks. With a Rune crossbow, you can use bolts up to rune. The Rune crossbow is a one-handed weapon. This allows players to use a shield, book or defender with it. The type of bolt will determine the ranged strength and thus the maxhit of the crossbow.
