The Rune platebody requires a Defence level of 40 to wear. It can be obtained as a drop from various Monsters. It can also be made by using the Smithing skill. This requires a smithing level of 99 and 5 Rune bars and will grant 2,800 smithing experience. The rune platebody provides the same stats as the Rune chainbody, they just look different.
