The Black kiteshield requires a Defence level of 10 to wear. It can be obtained as a drop from various Monsters. It can also be purchased for 1,895 coins in the Armour shop in Barbarian village and Al-Kharid and in the Shield shop in Falador. It cannot be made by using the Smithing skill.
The black kiteshield provides the same stats as the Black sq shield, they just look different. There is no difference in stats between Black, Black (t) or Black (g) armour.
