Gold bar

A Gold bar can be created through the use of Smithing and requires 40 to smelt. This is done by using gold ore with a furnace or casting Superheat Item on a gold ore which will grant you X Smithing experience and Y Magic experience.

Gold bars are used to create various jewellery with the Crafting skill. To craft jewellery the player must use a gold bar with a furnace along with its respective mould and potentially any cut gem in the inventory.
