Dragonfire shield
The dragonfire shield requires level 75 Strength and level 75 Defence to be equipped. It is one of the best shields currently ingame as it provides both high offensive and defensive bonuses and is the best protection from dragonfire attacks (the effect stacks with the Antifire potion.
The Dragonfire shield can be charged with dragon breaths. Clicking operate at your equipment screen while having 5 dragonfire charges launches a strong dragon breath. The dragon breath gives magic exp based on the damage you deal with it. This special attack does not hit very high against units with dragonfire protection.
The dragonfire shield can only be created by using a Draconic visage at an anvil. This requires a Smithing level of 90 and an Anti-dragon shield and hammer in your inventory. Creating the dragonfire shield will grant 1,046 Smithing experience. The Draconic visage is only obtainable as a rare drop from Black dragons, Mithril dragons, Brutal green dragons, Frost dragons and the King Black Dragon. The Anti-dragon shield can be purchased for 46,494 coins in the Shield shop, located in Falador.
