Gold bar
A Gold bar can be created through the use of smithing and requires a level of 40 to smelt. This is done by using gold ore with a furnace, granting you 22 smithing experience. Using the superheat Item spell instead of a furnace will grant an additional 173 magic experience.
Gold bars are used to create various jewellery with the crafting skill. To craft jewellery the player must use a gold bar with a furnace along with its respective mould. You need to smelt with a cut gem for any jewellery with a gem.
