The Kalphite Queen has two forms. Each one having exactly 255 life points.
 
In her first form, she uses [[Prayer#Prayers|Protect from Range]] and [[Prayer#Prayers|Protect from Magic]] at once. Which means that using [[Melee]] is the best way to damage her in the first form. Once the first form is killed, the second form appears. The second form only uses [[Prayer#Prayers|Protect from Melee]].

She resides within the depths of the [[Kalphite hive]], a dungeon whose entrance can be found in [[Al-Kharid]]. The entrance to her lair inside of the hive requires the player to use a [[Rope]] on it.

The second is a single-target [[ranged]] attack whose projectile appears as a cluster of spines. The third is a single-target [[magic]] attack that drains the player's [[Prayer|prayer points]], with the projectile resembling a bolt of electricity. Her first stage has the [[Prayer#Prayers|Protect from Magic]] and [[Prayer#Prayers|Protect from Ranged]] prayers active, while her second stage swaps to the [[Prayer#Prayers|Protect from Melee]] prayer.
