Glacor

Glacors can be found deep within the Ice cave which is located inside the asgarnian dungeon in rimmington. Being one of the slayer monsters that require a high slayer level of 92 to be able to damage. Glacors are mainly killed for obtaining the best in slot gloves presently. Moreover, glacors are one of the few monsters that have a weakness which are fire spells that can be used from the Normal spellbook.
Mechanics
Glacors attack with all three combat styles. They will attack you with melee if you are close enough to them. However, they can be safespotable by taking them behind the an ice rock. When they use a ranged attack they swing up their left arm. If they use a magic attack they swing up their right arm. That way you can switch between prayers and avoid unnecessary damage. You should also watch out for their big magic attack that targets the square you're standing on, this can be avoided by sidestepping. It will go right through prayer and armour and can deal some serious damage. The animation for it is fairly long, so it shouldn't be too difficult not to notice it. Once their hitpoints fall below 500 the glacor will spawn 3 minions that have 80 hp each. If you decide to leave them and focus on the glacor they will sacrifice themselves to heal the glacor for 80 each. Therefore it's recommended to get kill them as soon as they spawn before continuing the fight.
