Nex is one of the five bosses found inside of the God Wars dungeon. She resides within the ancient prison, located below the dungeon. The frozen door leading to the prison can be found south between the armadyl eyrie and the saradomin encampment. Players who wish to enter will need 70 agility in order to squeeze through the obstacle pipe leading to the prison. The dungeon itself can be accessed by using the Trollheim teleport and navigating down the mountain torwards Trollheim's northern exit. Additionally, players can directly teleport to the entrance by using a ferocious ring or a GWD tablet.
Unlike all other God Wars dungeon bosses, Nex's chamber does not require any form of killcount in order to enter. Ancient creatures within the prison will be aggressive towards the player if they are not wearing an ancient ceremonial robe set, but blood reavers will always be aggressive regardless of what the player wears. If any player dies while in Nex's chamber, then their items will spawn on the floor outside of the chamber's entrance rather than inside where they originally died.
Players can choose to fight any of the God Wars dungeon bosses as an instance by right-clicking on the door to the boss chamber and creating one before entering. In an instance, other players can only join if they know the name of the instance originally created.
Weakness
Nex is weak to any bolts type of damage and players will benefit from a 50% accuracy boost if they attack Nex with proper damage type.
Mechanics

It is good to know that minions hitpoints will scale up with the number of player in the team. If soloing, minions will have 50 hitpoints and for every additonal player, they will gain 25 hitpoints scaling up to a 4 person squad for a total of 125 HP. Minions also have their first attack delayed. They will now wait a few second after being spawned to attack players. They can be dealt with before sending their first attack. Nex has a total of 6 phases, each using different mechanics throughout the duration of the fight. Nex use a standard melee attack which has a range of 2 tiles alongside a multi-target magic or ranged attack, depending on the current phase. Nex will always use the same pattern in term of attack style. Being 2 multi-target attack followed by his special or melee hit, then 2 multi-target attacks followed by a melee hit. That pattern will repat itself thoughout all the fight. Phase 3, 4 and 5 have a special attack and phase 1, 2 and 6 does not. If the player is out of reach, Nex will simply use magic or ranged attacks instead of melee and the pattern will stay the same. Teams should keep in mind that she will not target a single player for too long before moving to someone else, so swapping between protection prayers to avoid all of her attacks can become much more difficult if not taunted properly.
If at any time a player is near the center of the arena, Nex will occasionally move to the center and shout out "There is no escape!" She will then proceed to quickly fly down one of the four lanes (depending on where the player targeted currently is), knocking back any players in her path and dealing up to 40 damage two times. Players can avoid this attack by quickly moving out of the current lane, or can negate any damage by activating one of the spirit shields' special ability.
Phase 1 (Water): The first phase is relatively straightforward as Nex does not use any other particular mechanics: she will only use her melee attack and her multi-target magic attack. At the end of this phase, Nex will summon Fumus, who use magic attacks.
Phase 2 (Smoke): The second phase begins once Nex reaches 2,000 hitpoints. Nex attacks do not change during that phase. However, her magic attack gains the ability to poison players for 6 damage. Players can avoid her poison damage by using antipoisons, super antipoisons, or the poison purge aura. If players don't kill Fumus before Nex reach 1600 hitpoints, Fumus will heal Nex of 400 hitpoints and prevent Nex from entering the next phase. At the end of the phase, Nex will summon Umbra, who attacks with ranged attacks.
Phase 3 (Shadow): The third phase begins once Nex reaches 1,600 hitpoints. Her multi-target attack will now deal ranged damage. Additionally, Nex will occasionally summon a shadow barrage covering a 3X3 square around every player which deals constant magic damage should a player stand in it. This damage will hit through the protect from magic prayer and can only be avoiding by using the special ability of one of the spirit shields or to move from the tiles being attacked. If players do not kill Umbra before Nex reaches 1200 hitpoints, Umbra will heal Nex of 400 hitpoints and prevent Nex from enterring the next phase. At the end of the phase, Nex will summon Cruor, who attacks with magic attacks.
Phase 4 (Blood): The fourth phase begins once Nex reaches 1,200 hitpoints. Her multi-target attack will now deal magic damage. Additionally, Nex will occasionally shout out "I demand your blood!" summoning a blood barrage underneath every player which will deal significant damage through prayer and heal Nex for the amount dealt should players not move from their current positions. If players do not kill Cruor before Nex reaches 800 hitpoints, Cruor will heal Nex of 400 hitpoints and prevent Nex from enterring the next phase. At the end of the phase, Nex will summon Glacies, who attacks with magic attacks that can freeze the player for a short time.
Phase 5 (Ice): The fifth phase begins once Nex reaches 800 hitpoints. Her attacks do not change. Nex will now summon a ice barrage underneath every player which can deal up to 102 damage and freeze the player as her special attack. This special attack can be avoided by moving from the tile being attacked. If players do not kill Glacies before Nex reaches 400 hitpoints, Glacies will heal Nex of 400 hitpoints and prevent Nex from enterring the next phase. No minions will spawn on the last phase.
Phase 6 (Zaros): The final phase begins once Nex reaches 400 hitpoints. Her multi-target attack will now do ranged damage. During that phase, if the targeted player is within the center of the chamber with Nex, She will kneel and shout "Zaros, protect me!". During that time, she will heal herself of 300 hitpoints and reflect all incomming damage back to the players. Players will have to move out of the center of the arena in order to kill her.

As of September 16th 2021, solo killing Nex (and other group bosses and hardmode bosses as well) is now rewarded with 2 drops.
