Frost dragons can be found in the [[Revenant dungeon]], in the [[Wilderness]]. They are located in a multi combat area. They are often killed for their [[Frostdragon bones]], that yield 1250 [[Prayer]] XP when buried. They are also the only kind of monsters that drop a [[Dragon battleaxe]].


Players should wear an [[Antidragon shield]] or a [[Dragonfire shield]] when fighting dragons.

They will use three different forms of attacks against the player while in combat. The first is a standard [[Melee]] attack. The second is a single-target, powerful blast of dragonfire that can deal serious damage if the player is not protected by an [[Anti-dragon shield]], [[Dragonfire shield]], or [[Antifire potion]] and will only be used in melee range. Frost dragons are one of the various types of dragons that can be found in Emps-World. They require 83 Slayer in order to be attacked. They can be assigned to the player as a slayer task by Vannaka, Duradel, and Shenven. They can be found in the Frost Dragon cave, which can be found in the Asgarnian dungeon. You can enter the dungeon only whilst being on Slayer task.

Weakness

Frost dragon is weak to any fire and stab type of damage and players will benefit from a 50% accuracy boost if they attack Frost dragon with proper damage type.

Mechanics

Frost dragons share similar mechanics with Metal dragons although they are not considered a metal dragon themselves; they are, however, also considered to be one of the more standard types of dragon available.
